A duchy in the Oaken Duchies with the Marshlands to the east, the nation of Sudash to the west, and Great Lakes Duchy to the north.

·         Capital is Gobas

Chapel Garden of Ceruna

A lush garden on the grounds of the Chapel of Ceruna in Fernsford.

·         Where Marie and Thaddeus married in the Turn of Thonda, 4969

Capital city of the Arcane Republic

·         Home to the Nine Towers of the Strands

Davi

A Waterseeker from the village of Svarti in Yut

Deadsand Way

The most widely traveled road that runs north-south through the Great Shakti Desert.

·         Passses through Supa,

Deepwell

City in the Thimbletoe Province of the Five Boroughs.

·         Birthplace to Nundle Babblebrook

Demetus

Capital city of the Marshlands Duchy

Elfbridge

A city in the southern reaches of the Five Boroughs, just on the border of Feylaryn

Fallsbottom

The lower half of the dual city of Smithshill, at the bottom of White Falls, where the less affluent citizens live.

Fernsford

A large city in the Southlands.

Feylaryn

A nation of Forest Elves and Sun Elves nestled between the Five Boroughs, the Celestial Empire, and Yut.

Firnê

A city in southern Feylaryn in the Syldiael Mountains.

·         Home to Lynnya Glythrynn

Five Boroughs

A nation of Halflings with Cartu on the west and Feylaryn to the south and west.

·         Made up of five boroughs, also known as provinces: Thimbletoe, Alewold, Sweetbush, Gobberdale, Crosswater

Freehaven

The capital of the Freelands Duchy and national capital of the Oaken Duchies

·         Known as Port Royal prior to Oaken Duchies formation in 4579

Gobas

Capital city of the Borderlands Duchy

Grapefere’s Thatchers

Thatcher next door to the Pargette Baking House in Fernsford.

·         Burned down in the Great Merchants Fire in the Turn of Khanos in 4970

Great Lakes Duchy

A central duchy in the Oaken Duchies that borders the Borderlands, the Marshlands, the Southlands, the Freelands, the Foothills, and the Red Peaks.

·         Capital is Redstone

·         Lake Hawthorne and Orc Tears lake are located here

Great Shakti Desert

A great swath of dry, barren land in eastern Yut.

Harmony

The national capital of The Commonwealth of Cartu

Henese Smithy

The smithy of Master Claude Henese in Fernsford, across the street from the Pargette Baking House.

·         Burned down in the Great Merchants Fire in the Turn of Khanos in 4970

Hilltop

The top half of the dual city of Smithshill where the more affluent citizens live.

Hollowstone

Small town two days east of Fernsford

Killis Post

A small village east of Yellow Mud, just south of the Southern Road

Lakeborough

A city in northern Southlands, just over the border from the Great Lakes Duchy.

Lake Hawthorne

A massive lake in the Great Lakes Duchy that empties into the Great White River at Smithshill.

Mantioch

Largest continent of Terrene, spanning the northern and southern hemisphere. Contains the nations of Yut, Cartu, the Five Boroughs, Feylaryn, the Kingdom of Torland, the Celestial Empire, and the Oaken Duchies.

Marshlands Duchy

A duchy in the Oaken Duchies that with the Southlands to the east, Borderlands to the west, and Great Lakes Duchy to the north.

·         Capital is Demetus

Oaken Duchies

A nation that takes up the eastern third of Mantioch.

·         Was once a part of the L’antico Impero, revolted in 4099

·         Was known as the Oaken Kingdom for centuries until 4579

·         Made up of ten duchies: Red Peaks, Northlands, Long Coast, Foothills, Colonial, Great Lakes, Freelands, Borderlands, Marshlands, Southlands

Outlaw Sea

An area of the ocean that sits southwest of the Oaken Duchies, south of Yut, and northeast of the Arcane Republic. Known to be the home of the Pirate Lords.

Pargette Baking House

Bakery in Fernsford, run by the Pargette family and across the street from Pargette Baking House.

·         Burned down in the Great Merchants Fire in the Turn of Khanos in 4970

Quan

Continent in the southern hemisphere of Terrene. Home of the nation of the Tang Dynasty.

Redstone

Capital city of the Great Lakes Duchy

Sea of Kings

The great sea between eastern Mantioch and western Halawala and western Ursus

Smithshill

Second largest city in Great Lakes Duchy, located at the mouth of the Great White River on Lake Hawthorne

·         Important trade hub in the region

·         Comprised of dual cities, Hilltop and Fallsbottom

Southern Road

A road that runs from Redstone, thorough Smithshill and Lakeborough, and to the eastern coast, ending in Prince’s Port.

Southlands Duchy

The southeastern-most duchy in the Oaken Duchies

·         Capital is Prince’s Port on the eastern coast near where the Great White River empties into the Sea of Kings

Supa

Larger town in eastern Yut in the Great Shakti Desert

·         Home to Half-elves and men

Sudash

Dry, mountainous nation between Yut and the Oaken Duchies

·         Populated by tribes of orcs, gnolls, razorfiends as well as barbaric men and half-orcs

Svarti

Village in the Great Shakti Desert along the Deadsand Way

Syldiael Mountains

A line of mountains that straddle southern Feylaryn and Yut

Tailors

The shop and residence of Oren and Joanne Tailor in Fernsford.

·         Burned down in the Great Merchants Fire in the Turn of Khanos in 4970

The Commonwealth of Cartu

A large nation on the northwestern section of the Mantioch continent. The Kingdom of Torland borders it to the north, the Five Boroughs on the east, and Yut to the south. The nation was formed by a collection of various races, making it the most cosmopolitan nation on Terrene. Commonly called Cartu.

The Greyman’s Horse

A run-down inn in the Candlelight District in the City of the Strands.

The Lout and The Witch

An inn in Yellow Mud, run by Garry and wife Harriet until Harriet passed in 4990 from spotted fever

·         Known for its wide selection of wine and spirits

The Shiny Ducat

An inn in Fernsford run by Innkeeper Dette

·         Location of the celebration for the union of Marie and Thaddeus

Wheatton

A small city in the Long Coast Duchy, known best for the summer red ale produced from the Wembly Brewery there.

Yaubano Mountains

A mountain range in south-central Cartu

Yellow Mud

Farming village located a few miles south of Lake Hawthorne

·         Known for producing olives and grapes

·         Home of the Isaac family

Yut

A wide-ranging nation that covers much of southern Mantioch and stretches from the western coast to Sudash.
