“Along our travels, something very unusual came to our attention. During one of our periods of living along the Sea of King’s Coast, a parchment was brought to our attention from the time the White Lions were formed. Apparently, after the Assembly of the Nine charged us with our task, the goddess Indrida – The Enlightened Oracle – had foreseen the future. She had sent a written version of it to Nelnora who immediately ordered it destroyed, yet somehow it survived. Once we read it, we realized only a portion of the prophecy had been fulfilled. Much was yet to come. This is what it said…”
The roar of the Lions of the Oak will drive back the spawn,
And the lines of men, strong once again, will be redrawn.
Yet that which drives men and women will pull at the seams,
And the strength of the Lions will fade as do last night’s dreams.
Torn apart by deceit and distrust,
One will perish and One will be lost.
One will leave, while Another will stay.
And Two shall find each Other one day.
Against his will, the cold One will fight.
While it falls upon the Half-man to unite.
Chaos will rise again, unraveling what has been made.
With Strife, Pain, and Deception in tow, lending aid.
Hidden, then found.
Willingly come around,
The Progeny will rise and lead the fight,
And along with new and old, the children seek to make it right.
