Terrene is a vast world with a deep, disparate history. Forgotten empires have risen only to collapse to ruin. Great nations of the past have faded away where the names of them are only rumors and myth. The Gods walk the earth, barred from their divine realm eons ago during the Locking - a battle between the Cabal and High Host. Strange, unique races co-exist as friends or battle as mortal enemies. Progeny takes place mostly in the southern regions of the Oaken Duchies, a nation made up of ten distinct duchies, each ruled by a Duke or Duchess. 4099 – Nolbis, a general in the Imperial Army, revolts, declares independence and founds the Oaken Kingdom in eastern Mantioch, changes name to King Alagar Rathburn
4539 – King Guy Rathburn invades Sudash
4563 – King Guy dies at Bashel Ridge, King Prescott ascends throne
4577 – King Prescott dies, King Liam ascends throne
4579 – King Liam deposed, ending Rathburn line, Oaken Duchies Founded
4635 – Duke Alistair of Red Peaks makes pack with No’ra’sim, Demonic War begins
4639 – The Assembly of the Nine convenes and creates the White Lions, Indrida issues her prophecy
4643 – White Lions help bring an end to the Demonic War
4748 – Scourging of Carinius Coast
4749 – Magic outlawed by the First Council in Freehaven, Constables created to hunt down all mages
